As reported, the device appears to function identically to the Samsung Galaxy S (save cellular capabilities of course). A promo showing off the Galaxy Player's features really makes it look like this could be a well-developed Android answer the iPhone-iPod Touch duo.
And it appears that the Android media players are going to be less expensive than the latest-generation iPod touch. The 8GB is listed at about $234; the 16GB is about $280. Check out the video and a more thorough list of the specs below.
